Sashiko Cloth Washable 5mm Grid Guide

A large 100% cotton Sashiko cloth printed with a washable grid guide for marking and stitching your own Sashiko patterns.

The grid includes 5 mm, 1 cm, and 10 cm guides, making it easy to plan and transfer a wide variety of Hitomezashi and Moyozashi Sashiko patterns directly onto the fabric. The printed guide disappears when washed with water.

The soft cotton fabric is absorbent and easy to stitch. It works well with medium-weight Sashiko thread, while finer threads such as DARUMA Home Thread Thin or Thick can also be used for more detailed designs without making the finished fabric too bulky.

At 50 × 108 cm, the cloth is larger than a typical Sashiko dishcloth and can be used for larger projects, including wrapping a bento box. It can also be cut to your preferred size and backed with another fabric, allowing you to use the printed grid efficiently for smaller projects.
